The Example Chip Page is an example page of the chip format. This initial paragraph in the editor should be one or two sentences of the most basic description of the chip, and is preceded by the infoboxes for the chip.

Beast Jump Logic

Beast Jump Logic is a level 2 heading that explains how the chip works with Beast Out's Beast Jump. Sometimes, this is as simple as a single sentence.

  • If there are many scenarios with different positions for the Beast Jump, use bullet points to list them out.
  • Do not default to bullet points if there's no meaningful list to list out.

Frame Data

Frame Data is a level 2 heading that gives the frame counts for a chip's startup, active frames, and cooldown. Dimming chips do not need this section unless they require specific timing, such as Chip Icon 6 Mega 016 Gregar.png EraseMan or Chip Icon 6 Mega 034.png ElmntMan. Often this involves a diagram using inline tables:

Version Differences

Version Differences is a level 2 heading. This section explains any differences between the standard international release, EXE 6, and the Legacy Collection. This is not a section for Gregar vs Falzar!

If there are no version differences, this section isn't necessary and can be excluded.

Unique Interactions

Unique Interactions is a level 2 heading. This section explains any interactions between between the chip and other chips that don't match expected mechanics.

  • Do not use this section to describe combos. Interesting combos should be considered for the Synergies section below.
  • Keep interactions only to ones that go against the standard mechanics of the game (for instance, if the chip does not paralyze with Chip Icon 6 Standard 192.png WhiCapsl as expected).

Competitive Overview

The Competitive Overview section should provide an overall look at the chip from a competitive standpoint. Along with a general overview of the chip's usage, viability, and the niches it fills, this section contains subheadings:

Synergies

Synergies is a level 3 heading describing synergies with other chips or strategies. For instance, chips that make a good follow-up if the chip lands, or NaviCust arrangements that this chip benefits from.

Counterplay

Counterplay is a level 3 heading for describing how to play against the chip. This includes dodging strategies, chips that can counteract the chip, effective crosses, and other techniques.

Version Differences

Version Differences is a level 3 heading. This heading relates to the level 2 Version Differences heading above. In this case, the version differences are looked at from a competitive perspective: are the differences enough to change how the chip is used?

Individual Version

Each version's differences and their impact should be a level 4 heading.

If there are no version differences, this section isn't necessary and can be excluded.

Misc.

Misc. is a level 2 heading for PvP trivia and other interesting notes that don't belong anywhere else. Only include this section if the information is necessary and truly doesn't belong in any other section of the page.

All chip pages end with the appropriate navplate for the game.
