While the hive is up, MegaMan is unaffected by all attacks except for Fire element attacks, Poison panels, Anubis and PoisonPharaoh effect, GunDelSol chips and AntiRecovery. If the attack is a Cursor chip, the trap set-up will be destroyed. A swarm of bees will deal only 1 hit on obstacles rather than the usual 5. Every blocked hit sends a bee swarm if the interval between the hits was more than 10f; up to 3 extra bee swarms. The hive stays up for 30f after getting hit less than 3 times. Travel speed increases with chip rank. While RiskyHoney is up, TimeFreeze fire chips cannot flash or flinch you. Realtime chips will still flash and flinch unless they cause a decross, in which they will not flash or flinch. Fire chips will not destroy the hive. In international versions (BN6) attacks blocked by the hive will not activate AntiDamage or AntiSword. In the Japanese version the hive does not block attacks or send out extra bees when used together with a trap.
