BodyPack provides the following list of NaviCust parts: AirShoes, FloatShoes, Super Armor and UnderShirt.
Compressed, BodyPack takes 15 squares. The four programs it provides are a total of 16 squares. The 1 square savings BodyPack provides must be considered against its bulky shape. BodyPack's shape typically results in some squares being unusable on the NaviCust, making its actual size cost larger in practice. If even 1 or 2 squares are left unusable by BodyPack's placement, then BodyPack loses any efficiency compared to the individual programs.
BodyPack can potentially have an advantage with the Command Line, with certain placements taking only 3 squares of the Command Line instead of 4 of the individual parts (with AirShoes's shape, often 5 in practice). The shape and its tendency to produce unreachable spaces makes this hard to take advantage of in full.
It's also worth considering if a build needs both shoes at all. If not, then BodyPack becomes undesirable.
