Competitive Overview
Iron Shell is almost never used in competitive play. While it is one of the few Break element Non Dimming Chips, it is rarely used. It is fairly difficult to consistently land the second hit of Iron Shell, making it fairly low on damage. It is also easy to stop with Hole panels and can often be completely denied.
Iron Shell 2 can be used in E-Code alongside ElcPuls2, and WindRack. This allows the attacks to chain with each other, and push the opponent to the back which achieves the second hit requirement. However, E-Code also contains AuraHed2 which can be preffered to using Iron Shell 2 because of the ease of landing, and more consistent damage.
