Competitive Overview

Iron Shell is almost never used in competitive play. While it is one of the few Element 6 Break.png Break element Non Dimming Chips, it is rarely used. It is fairly difficult to consistently land the second hit of Iron Shell, making it fairly low on damage. It is also easy to stop with Hole panels and can often be completely denied.

Iron Shell 2 can be used in E-Code alongside Chip Icon 6 Standard 034.png ElcPuls2, and Chip Icon 6 Standard 079.png WindRack. This allows the attacks to chain with each other, and push the opponent to the back which achieves the second hit requirement.
