Wide Shot is a Real Time chip that fires a 3 wide 1 deep water wave ahead in a straight line. It deals 100 Element 6 Aqua.png Aqua element, Flinching damage.

Notes

  • Wide Shot stops on the first enemy or object it hits. Upon impact, it can hit multiple enemies/objects in its area of effect.

Frame Data

  • Wide Shot has a 15 frame windup time. The wave hits the first panel on frame 16, the second on frame 20, the third on frame 26, the fourth on frame 33, and the fifth on frame 40.
  • The full attack animation lasts 28 frames.

Competitive Overview

Wide Shot is a reliable chip to decross Heat Cross and Charge Cross if used from the middle row to cover the field ahead of the user.

Spout Cross can chip charge Wide Shot to double its damage and break Chip Icon 6 Standard 184.png LifeAur. As Chip Icon 6 Standard 138.png RockCube has 200 HP, a double-damage Wide Shot can also break it immediately.

In R code, Chip Icon 6 Standard 193.png Uninstll can be attached to Wide Shot for a high chance of uninstalling the opponent.

Counterplay

As Wide Shot does not pierce objects, the enemy can stand behind one to prevent being hit.

If the user cannot access their middle row, Wide Shot can be avoided by standing one row apart from the user.

An enemy with Warp Step Bug can dodge Wide Shot if they move from their rightmost to their leftmost column (from the user's perspective) with good timing.
